This Privacy Policy explains how the SELFIE Project Website (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you interact with our website, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law No. 58/2019 (Portuguese implementation of GDPR).
1. Who We Are
The SELFIE project proposes and demonstrates the integration of multicore fibre (MCF) technology, low-complexity direct-detection (DD) self-coherent receivers, and machine learning algorithms based on neural networks as a powerful solution to significantly increase the system capacity in short-medium reach optical networks where cost is of primary concern. This project is coordinated by IT with international collaborations.
